In 2010, Ecoporto Praia Norte Operação Portuárias e Serviços Logísticos S/A was created with the objective of meeting the demand of the State Government, through a letter of intent, signed with the Government of Tocantins and the municipality of Praia Norte, where each party assumed obligations and rights. Specific laws were created to provide a favorable environment for the implementation of this port complex. The Ecoporto project involves the implementation of port operations, river transport and navigation, in addition to storage solutions and logistical operations.
